The look
Every line is gold on a background that’s almost black. For the name we used Abril Fatface, a display serif with very thick downstrokes and hairline-thin joins. The barn name and contacts are in a regular book serif, also gold.
There’s a gold double border, and ornament layouts put small gold diamonds beside the name.
Who it's for
It’s the dressiest of the solid-color signs, so we drew it for show barns, breeding farms and stallion stalls.
Black and gold goes with nearly any barn color, which helps if it’s a gift and you don’t know what the stalls look like.
