The look
The background is a photo of a real chalkboard, smudges included, in dark green-black. A bold joined-up script is used for the name in chalk white, and the barn and contacts are in a slab serif.
A pale yellow border with rounded corners goes around it, and ornament layouts add small wheat sprigs. It looks hand-lettered, but it’s printed, so nothing wipes off.
Who it's for
Feeding notes look natural on it, since that’s what a barn chalkboard is usually for. Farmhouse barns, feed rooms and farm stands suit it too.
Whitewashed Barnwood makes a good neighbor for it.
