The look
The background is a photo of brushed metal with its fine horizontal grain. Tall narrow capitals in near-black carry the name, and the barn and contacts are in a bold sans-serif. A thin dark line runs around the edge, and there are no ornaments.
Who it's for
Steel stall fronts, galvanized gates and concrete aisles were the setting we pictured. The dark capitals stay easy to read on the light gray, even on the mini.
It also looks right on a horse trailer, next to all that aluminum. Slate has a similar minimal style on a dark background.
